Holy Powers

When wielded by a lawful knight, paladin, hunter, or similar:

  • +3 to attack and damage rolls (1d8+3).
  • +4 bonus to saves vs any magic.
  • Inflicts double damage against chaotic creatures.

When wielded by any other lawful creature:

  • +1 to attack and damage rolls.

As a sentient magic item, Emyul has the following attributes:

  • Communication: Empathic
  • Purpose: Kill all chaotic creatures.

Sensory Powers

  • Detect good or evil: Wielder can sense any good or evil intentions within 20’.
  • Locate secret doors: Wielder instantly knows location of all secret doors within 10’, can be used up to 3x each day.

Whip Properties

  • Entangle: On successful hit, target must Save or become Entangled.
  • Reach: Grants extra 5’ reach for determining melee range.
