  • While lightning is trapped inside, the bottle casts bright light in a 10’ radius, and dim light for another 10’.

Opening

While lightning is trapped inside, the bottle may be opened as a combat action, unleashing the lightning in the direction that the open bottle is pointed, landing at target point up to 90’ away, and continuing in a 2’-wide path for 30’.

  • Deals 3d6 damage to creatures caught in it (Save vs Wielded for half damage).
  • If the bolt hits a solid barrier before it reaches its full length, it is reflected, traveling back towards the bottle for the remaining distance.

Throwing

While lightning is trapped inside, the bottle may be thrown at target creature (range 5’–10’ / 11’–30’ / 31’–50’) as an attack.

  • On a successful hit, the bottle is shattered and the lightning is released.
    • Deals 5d6 damage to target, and 3d6 damage to all creatures adjacent to target (Save vs Wielded for half damage).
